Ceramics
One of the oldest human inventions, pottery is made by forming clay into shapes or objects before firing them to high temperatures in an oven that is called a kiln. Ceramics can be practical or decorative, both of which give timeless pleasure. The sheer delight that can be found in holding or looking at handcrafted ceramics, whether it be a beautiful cup or fine sculpture, is priceless. Classic mugs and tableware by Sawdust artists Bill Darnall and Robert Jones are a must see, as well as whimsical garden art by Lupe Blanton and exquisite mosaic sculpture by Monica Prado!
